NEEDED: Volunteer Navigators at PHL
As passenger volume at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) continues to steadily increase, the airport is seeking to expand its team of Volunteer Navigators who assist the growing number of travelers returning to the skies. On April 28, the airport hosted its first-ever Open House to bring awareness to the program, recruit new volunteers, meet PHL’s leadership team, and recognize the current volunteers for their steadfast dedication and thank them for their hours served.

Semi-Skilled Laborer Carmen Jengo recently received the “Caring Support” award in PHL’s Airport Employee Recognition Program. This award recognizes employees who provide exceptional care and services to seniors, families with young children, disabled passengers, and others with special needs.
MarketPlace PHL Continues Partnership with Philabundance
For the past three years, MarketPlace PHL and OTG management have donated food to Philabundance, a non-profit hunger relief organization that serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region.
Masks No Longer Required at PHL
As per the City of Philadelphia's guidance, face masks are encouraged, but no longer mandated inside city facilities, including Philadelphia International Airport, as of Friday, April 22, 2022. Guests and staff may choose to continue to wear masks at their own discretion.
Guests are reminded that face masks may still be required at some destinations and should carry masks with them. Need a mask? Free masks are available at PHL information desks.

PHL Announces Additional On-Site Parking Availability: Limited Number of Spaces in Economy Lot Available Beginning April 21
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) has announced a limited number of onsite parking spaces will be available for passengers beginning April 21. The 1,850 spaces are located in airport’s economy parking lot and accessible via the parking lot’s Island Avenue entrance. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Shuttle buses will drop off and pick up passengers at all PHL terminals.
