As Congress Considers Additional COVID-19 Relief, PHL Provides Update on Use of CARES Act Funding

In April, the Federal Aviation Administration announced approximately $116 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding was designated for PHL (as well as $157,000 for PNE). For PHL, that was the equivalent to a little over 100 days of cash on hand to support airport operations, including covering payroll, paying vendors and making debt service payments—enough to get through to end of the fiscal year.

PHL Food & Shops Restaurants Deliver for Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House

Chefs from several PHL Food & Shops restaurants recently prepared and delivered approximately 80 pre-made meals for families staying at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House at 40th and Chestnut Streets.  The event was part of the Ronald McDonald House’s Guest Chef program.

"Grab" and Go at PHL

Picking up food, whether to eat at PHL or take on a flight is literally as easy as “Grab” and go, thanks to the Grab mobile platform. Using the platform’s app, website or QR codes found on tables in PHL dining areas, guests can order, pay for and pick up meals from a range of PHL Food & Shops food and dining merchants without waiting in line.
