Philly artist Amberella, now living bi-coastal in Los Angeles, is passionate about sharing messages of positivity. One of the best ways to publicly share one’s creativity is through street art. And Philadelphia is known for its vibrant street art scene.

For the past 10 years, Amberella has made her mark in Philadelphia and throughout the United States with her street art series of 2-dimensional hearts reminiscent of the iconic sugar candies popular at Valentine’s Day. Amberella has created what she calls goth hearts and power hearts. Her power hearts are “about self-love…messages of encouragement and love for everyone. Once my work hits the streets, it’s no longer just mine, it’s yours as well.”

Here, Amberella has utilized reflective mirrors so that viewers can see themselves within her heart felt messages. This exhibition is meant to be experienced and shared. Amberella wrote, this is a “reminder to all that YOU ARE POWERFUL and UR MAGIC…It’s a matter of awakening and feeding the potential that we hold and following the truth of our hearts.”
