Join us on September 12, 2026, for the 9th PHL 5K Run/Walk!  This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! Participants will get to see commercial and general aviation aircraft taking off and landing (on different runways!) and a display of airport equipment such as fire apparatus, various types of snow removal equipment and airline ground support equipment.

Bring the entire family! This year we have the free "Kid's 50 Yard Dash", a relay race in the parking lot for kids 5 & under (Waivers are required for children participating in the race). This area will bring the feel of the airfield race to your little ones and makes for a great photo op! There will also be face painting, mascots, and a variety of fun activities.

Proceeds benefit March of Dimes, Eastwick Friends & Neighbors Coalition (EFNC) and Eastwick United CDC (EU).

In addition to supporting worthy causes, participants will receive a moisture wicking PHL5K Run shirt, along with post nutrition food and beverages. Register by August 21 to be guaranteed a race shirt.

NOTE: The event is rain or shine and non-refundable! There is NO race day registration. Only registered runners will be permitted on the racecourse. Spectators are not allowed on the tarmac and must remain in the parking/waiting area; however, we want your family to come along!

Award medals will be given to the top run finishers in the following categories:

Overall Top Male, Female, and Non-Binary

Top male
12 & under, 13-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and 61-99

Top female
12 & under, 13-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and 61-99

A total of 17 medals will be distributed.
