Visit San Antonio!

Happening daily from June 5 -November 4, American Airlines will offer nonstop flights from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to San Antonio, Texas. This is the first time American has flown nonstop between PHL and San Antonio Interational Airport (SAT) since 2020.     

San Antonio has attractions for people of all ages. The "Theme Park Capital of Texas” is home to activities and events for the whole family.  

San Antonio River WalkThe San Antonio River Walk is popular area for locals and visitors. With eye-catching walkways, theatres, bridges, bike/boat tours, and various bars and shops, it adds to the charm of San Antonio’s flair.  

The Alamo is a historic mission that played a pivotal role in the Texas Revolution against Mexico in 1836. The Alamo stands today as a reminder of Texas’ resistance and quest for independence. It is a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of Texan identity.  

Visit the Japanese Tea Garden for lush gardens and floral displays , a 60-foot waterfall and koi-filled ponds. Mural-ride bike tours allow for the exploration of San Antonio even more up-close and personal, with an opportunity to learn about the various murals and the stories behind the artists on easily accessible electric bikes.  

San Antonio’s theme parks--Six Flags Fiesta (soon to be the DC Universe Capital of America), Seaworld San Antonio, and Morgan’s Wonderland—are full of 163 “rides, slides, and experiences” for the young and young at heart.

Also referred to as the “Culinary Capital of Texas,” San Antonio offers restaurants serving everything under the sun. After a day of exploring, you can visit places such as The Culinary Institute of San Antonio, trying foods ranging from steaks to seafood to desserts and international cuisine.  Restaurants located up and down the local streets of San Antonio offer iconic TexMex-style food such as Las Palapas Restaurant, La Fonda, Rosario’s Mexican Cafe Y Cantina, and more
