PHL takes pride in its airport and neighboring communities. Here at the airport, we love to connect with our community members by offering airport tours for groups, opportunities for staff and our residents to partner as we give back and an engaging calendar of fun events such as the ShopRite hoagie making contest. Contact Jonathan White, Special Events Production Coordinator, at 215-863-3573 (office) or 215-783-7380 (cell) for more information regarding terminal, airfield, and art tours.

Are you Interested in visiting the PHL Airport? Do you want to learn how our airport operates from the people who work here?

PHL offers group tours for members of our community that provide a first-hand look at the terminals and airfield. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of entities within the airport system, including landside operations, airside operations, security, and general aviation.

Group tours are available weekdays and last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Tours are free.

Interested is visiting the airport for a tour of our award-winning art exhibitions. The exhibitions program at the airport offers group tours for those who want to meet the curator and learn more about the local artists whose work is currently on view.

Group tours are available weekdays and last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Tours are free.

Please note that due to COVID-19 precautions, tours are not being conducted at the time. Group activities will resume when it is safe to do so.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Volunteer Program at PHL. To celebrate, the airport is expanding its program and is seeking dedicated, friendly individuals who enjoy helping others, are interested in travel and hospitality, and love the Greater Philadelphia region.

If this sounds like a perfect fit and you can make a commitment of at least one 4-hour shift every week (between the hours of 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week) for one year, please fill out the PHL Airport Volunteer Interest form.

Selected applicants will be contacted by a PHL representative. The City of Philadelphia reserves the right to determine who will be approved as a volunteer. Please email with any questions.
