Roam Fitness is coming to PHL soon! What is Roam Fitness? It is a full-service fitness center, and it’s scheduled to open in Terminal F at PHL in June! 

The opening of the fitness center at Philadelphia International Airport will mark the opening of the second workout location for Roam Fitness Centers, as they plan to open additional fitness centers in other major airports throughout the United States. 

As the second airport to open a ROAM fitness center, PHL is thrilled to be an industry leader by providing a comfortable exercise space in an unlikely setting.  

At PHL, we anticipate the fitness center will be popular with travelers and airport staff, as it has flexible hours, flexible membership opportunities and the overall convenience of major fitness centers. We’re sure to attract guests who are looking for a convenient exercise space like ROAM at PHL.  

Cynthia Sandall, Co-founder of ROAM Fitness said, “Six-and-a-half years ago, ROAM opened its first airside gym to give passengers a place to care for their bodies on busy travel days. Our presence at terminals supports an individual’s fitness and wellness goals, so they don’t have to feel like travel days are compromising their health. Adding additional airport locations has always been a goal of ours and we are so pleased PHL will be home to our second location.” 

Guests will find yoga stretching space, free weights, and high-end cardio equipment.

The fitness center offers tiered membership prices for PHL guests and airport staff. Guests can purchase a club membership or buy a day pass. 

What happens if you’re in the airport without workout gear? No worries, Roam Fitness at PHL has workout gear and sneakers (for rent or purchase) available for guests. After a workout, visitors can take a luxurious, private shower, return the rented workout gear, and make it to their flight. What a great way to spend time at the airport.  

Sandall’s co-founder Ty Manegold, added, "ROAM Fitness was born out of our own want for a healthy outlet when traveling. Our founders were tired of having to cut daily workouts to make travel plans work, especially for business trips. We are delighted to be opening another location, and in a fantastic city, Philadelphia, a major hub airport for East Coast business travel."
