How It Works
1: Apply Online
Complete your application online 1-7 days prior to your visit. Please review the Wingmate Pass Terms of Use and Frequently Asked Questions before applying.
All Wingmate Pass program applicants must submit a Wingmate Pass application. Applications for minors under the age of 18 are permitted with an adult over the age of 18 listed on the application. Approved minors must remain under adult escort during their Wingmate visit.
The application will require the following information: first and last name (as it appears on your government issued ID), gender, date of birth, email and reason for visiting. Once you have submitted your application you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request.
2: Receive Your Digital Pass
If approved, you will receive an email with a digital Wingmate Pass to be used for entry at a designated security checkpoint on the day of your approved visit.
All applications are reviewed by TSA to determine approval status. TSA reserves the right to deny applications.
If you applied in advance you will receive an email after 12:00 AM on the day of your visit with your application status. If you applied for same day entrance you will receive an email within 15 mins with your application status.
3: Security Screening
On the day of your approved visit arrive at PHL’s D/E or A-East security checkpoint for entry with your approved digital Wingmate Pass and government issued photo ID.
Please note Wingmate passes will only be accepted at the D/E or A-East security checkpoints. However, once through security you may access all PHL terminals. TSA pre-check is not permitted for Wingmate Pass entry.
No more than one personal item (a purse, small bag, or briefcase) is permitted through security as a Wingmate Pass user.
PHL Wingmate users are subject to the same security regulations as ticketed passengers. Please review all security reminders to ensure your access to the terminals will be granted.
