Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is excited to welcome new certified therapy dogs to the Wagging Tails Brigade:
Gladys, a three-year-old Great Dane
Buddy, a three-year-old Bernedoodle (Bernese and Poodle)
Florian (“Lore”), a two-year-old Leonberger.
The Wagging Tails Brigade walks through PHL’s terminals, offering surprise and delightful moments to passengers and employees. Each pet is special in different ways and provide warm comfort to our guests. Since joining the PHL team in 2019, the dogs have become a favorite feature at the airport.
"The Wagging Tails Brigade continually welcomes new certified therapy dogs and their handlers to join our dedicated team of volunteers. It is a volunteer program that brings smiles and joy to everyone," said Leah Douglas, Director of Guest Experience.
The airport is always excited to add new members to our family, especially our four-legged buddies. For information on becoming a member of the Wagging Tails Brigade, click here.
