Frontier Airlines has announced a summer and fall schedule that will place a strong focus on Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), adding or increasing seven routes from the City of Brotherly Love with an eye for continued expansion. The additions bring Frontier's presence at PHL to 27 nonstop destinations.
Notable highlights include the introduction of a new route to Phoenix, the launch of two previously planned routes that were delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis (Boston and Chicago), and a focus on Orlando to Philadelphia as Frontier's flagship route.
"This is just the beginning of the aviation industry's recovery, and we are so pleased that Frontier has included Philadelphia in its core schedule," said PHL CEO Chellie Cameron. "The new routes announced this week will help PHL make more connections with several key cities, and we are excited to say that there's much more to come."
