Christine Ottow is the Director of Strategic Communications at PHL/PNE. In this role, Ms. Ottow sets and guides strategy to articulate the Department of Aviation’s mission and tell DOA’s story in a positive and compelling way. She manages internal and external communications, crisis communications and reputation management. Christine’s career spans the public and the private sectors where she has led strategic global communications, media relations, brand positioning, digital marketing, content strategy, event marketing, and thought leadership programs. She applies data-driven market solutions to build brands and works closely with employees, customers, and partners to find the stories that bring communications to life.

Prior to joining PHL/PNE, Ms. Ottow held communications and marketing roles at several leading technology companies within the business travel/event management and HR industries. Before that, Ms. Ottow served as a deputy communications director for administrations in the City of Philadelphia and in the City of New Orleans. Ms. Ottow has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She and her husband David live in the historic Overbrook Farms neighborhood of Philadelphia where she was active in the neighborhood organization leading its annual Open House Tour and volunteering with the Friends of Morris Park Association.
