Damian Oravez is the Chief Information Security Officer at PHL and oversees the Information Security department responsible for establishing and maintaining the strategy for ensuring the protection of data and information systems.
Damian received his Master of Science in Information Security from Champlain College in 2018. He holds the industry certifications and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Before his current role, Damian was the Manager of Information Security at Ascensus, a college and retirement savings firm based in Dresher, PA.
Damian is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of ISACA, an IT governance focused association and is also a member of ISC2, an international nonprofit membership association for information security leaders and the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). Damian resides in the Old City section of Philadelphia.
